Summary:

Our client is an automotive supplier looking to add an Account Executive to sell to automotive OEM’s and Tier 1 companies. This position offers a lot of freedom and provides the opportunity for career growth. This company is very flexible and open to hearing new ideas that are brought in. The Account Executive must have 5+ years of selling to automotive OEM and Tier 1 companies

Account Executive Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years automotive experience calling on OEMs and large Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant degree field.
  • Candidate must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Candidate must be computer literate with experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Office.

Account Executive Description:

  • Planning and assessing the feasibility of project opportunities for our clients based on customer requirements.
  • Presenting and explaining project proposals to clients.
  • Working with the clients to develop the proper RFQ responses to meet the customers’ needs in terms of quantity, quality, and location.
  • Assisting our principals with the realization/industrialization of awarded business at profitable levels, and managing quality and logistic requirements through product launch.
  • Providing after sales support via telephone, video conferencing, email and on-site visits.
  • Working with engineering, production and quality departments at our clients to improve the product and/or lower the cost based on customer feedback.
  • Representing client companies in exhibitions and trade shows in the S. E. US.
  • Searching out new sales opportunities for our principals at the OEMs and the larger Tier 1 suppliers in the S.E.
  • Monitor the market for potential new clients that firm could represent
  • Candidate should be able to manage their time and be able to handle multiple principals and customers.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate with customers and principals clearly and effectively.
  • Candidate must be able to work effectively with all levels in different manufacturing organizations (customers and principals).
  • Candidate will be assist in negotiations of long-term supply agreements on behalf of our clients.
  • Logistics, manufacturing engineering, packaging engineering experience helpful.
