Summary:
Our client is a small franchise group of the largest carryout-only pizza chain in the United States. They are looking for an experienced operations leader to oversee four restaurants. The Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Operations Supervisor will be tasked with achieving sales growth and profitability in the stores by hiring, training, and supervising restaurant managers and co-managers, and ensuring all restaurants operate according to Franchise standards and procedures. 

Operations Supervisor must have 3+ years of experience managing intense dinner rushes between front and back of house, directing crew, engaging in friendly customer interaction, and maintaining composure under pressure

Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Operations Supervisor Requirements:

  • Must have quick service restaurant (QSR) background
  • Previous experience managing/operating multi-location units
  • Little Caesars experience is a huge plus
  • Must present self as professional and mature
  • Confidence hitting the ground running 
  • Must have reliable transportation to visit each of stores; must be available at all times
  • Must display leadership qualities in addition to management skills, and must abide by all state and federal laws OSHA and EEOC requirements
  • Must have flexible schedule
  • Requires a hands-on style of management and physical work such as, lifting, squatting, and standing for long periods of time may be required

Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Operations Supervisor Description:

  • The Area Director/Operations Manager is tasked with achieving sales growth and profitability in the Stores by hiring, training, and supervising Restaurant Managers and Co-Managers, and ensuring all restaurants operate according to standards and procedures
  • The Area Director/Operations Manager oversees the operation of four restaurants
  • Will be required to carry a cell phone and respond to any problems with a sense of urgency
  • Practice and enforce all franchise policies and procedures.
  • Detailed lists of each restaurant station’s responsibilities and duties can be found in the “Operational OJT Guide” and the job helpers posted at each station
  • Advise restaurant management through the appropriate use of communication, delegation, follow-up and discipline 
  • Conduct meetings and store visits to ensure direction is implemented properly and all restaurants are operating consistently according to Franchise standards 
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, counsel Restaurant Managers on decision making and problem solving to ensure appropriate actions are taken at the store level, and implement change in an effective manner 
  • Conduct store reviews, certification reviews, and unannounced store visits as needed to evaluate the quality of service, friendliness, cleanliness, and management operations of each restaurant and leaves detailed action steps for improvement
  • Conduct performance reviews, both formal and informal, to regularly assist the Manager in developing their knowledge, skills, and abilities, and to recognize their strengths and accomplishments
  • Conduct security/safety audits, and performs the duties associated with cash management to ensure a safe and secure work environment for all Colleagues
  • Visit management trainees in their assigned area and conducts solo open and solo close evaluations to determine the trainee’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Ensure restaurant management abides by all franchise policies and government regulations to ensure a workplace free of harassment, discrimination, and other labor law violations
  • Accurately collect and process all daily, weekly, and period end paperwork as required by franchise
  • Troubleshoot the profitability of each restaurant by monitoring daily, weekly, and period end sales and cost control figures, meets with Restaurant Managers each period to review profit and loss statements, and sets goals for improvement
  • Assist Restaurant Managers in executing local store marketing, and tracks the success of same
  • Perform and/or coordinate the operational activities associated with relocation, remodels, equipment repairs/maintenance, and new store openings
