Our client is a global leader in protection and routing solutions who is looking to add an experienced and enthusiastic Business Development Associate. The Business Development Associate will maintain and develop further opportunities within their assigned customer base and develop new strategic accounts within the wiring harness, hose, and tube industry. They will also pursue and develop opportunities within new industries to support growth.

The Business Development Associate must have at least 1 year of experience in a technical sales role.

Business Development Associate Requirements:

  • Bachelor or associate degree in Business preferred – Management, Marketing, or Communications
  • General mathematics knowledge
  • Business related internship is helpful
  • Microsoft and Google based application knowledge
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to present to various sized groups of people, both internal and to customers
  • Skilled at negotiations and establishing alliances with customers
  • Respect confidentiality of company information and industrial property
  • Demonstrated independent thinking and ability to make decisions

Business Development Associate Description:

  • Help to develop detailed, realistic, and comprehensive plans that support organization’s objectives
  • Master product line and support customer base by promoting solutions
  • Support scheduled meetings with customers and OEMs for introductions of new solutions and current product line
  • Represent the company professionally to customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Help to identify any process that compromises or will potentially compromise product quality, personnel safety, environmental health, or proprietary information
  • Take action on and report any activities that are in violation with the company’s social policy and values
  • Build a broad, sophisticated network of loyal clients, partners, and friendships both internally at Client and externally in the industry
  • Assist in training new personnel to perform duties for which they are qualified to perform
  • Develop customer meeting reports to share with management and other colleagues
  • Collaborate with co-workers in other regions on global accounts/platform information
  • Support finance group to recover past dues with necessary
  • Develop your skills to move from role as Business Development Associate up to the position of Business Development Manager
