Campaign Strategist

Summary:

Our client is a marketing and communications firm who is looking to add an experienced and driven Campaign Strategist. The Campaign Strategist will be responsible for delivering relevant, personalized experiences that rise above the noise of conventional marketing across all channels and devices. They’ll oversees the entire the campaign process, develop strategies, and coordinate tasks/activities associated with campaign development and execution.

The Campaign Strategist must have at least 3 years of experience managing/developing marketing campaigns.

Campaign Strategist Requirements:

  • An ideal candidate will have experience leading marketing and brand strategy efforts in large organizations, along with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 – 5 years previous experience as a Campaign Strategist
  • Previous experience Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Highly Preferred)
  • 3-5+ years of managing moderately complex Omni channel marketing campaigns in an agency setting
  • Experience working with enterprise-level clients
  • Experience in Consumer Product
  • Must understand digital marketing and direct mail
  • Detailed-oriented with strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Highly effective communication skills with outstanding writing and presentation abilities.
  • Experience with a variety of direct response marketing channels including digital

Campaign Strategist Description:

  • Develop and manage adherence to the campaign budget and performance goals
  • Play a role in selection and management of all vendors/partnerships
  • Develop Campaign Strategy Briefs
  • Understanding, customizing and optimizing the entire campaign management process to include new campaign requirements, testing/optimization, production execution and quality control.
  • Develops quarterly budgets and planned activity; adhering to client minimum activity requirements
  • Confirming that all creative follows an approval process
  • Synthesize and implement analytics, research insights, marketing trends, competitive landscape, and macro external factors into strategy recommendations
  • Collaborate with analyst teams to understand performance metrics, build on analysis to identify new opportunities, and adjust marketing/ testing strategies
  • Develop and implement conversion marketing strategy for Direct Mail and Digital channels including Display, Social Media and SEM
  • Lead in development of cross-journey, cross-channel media plans (digital and traditional) that specify which channels and when, to effectively reach the client’s target audience
  • Facilitate the design, research and development of a customer journey framework that uses behavior change and analytic insights to improve consumer response
  • Map cultural and market trends, as well as research and analyze marketplace and media data
  • Overseeing strategy development and project delivery processes with key contributors that may include support of or working with Campaign Execution Analysts, Technical Project Managers, and Account Management where needed
  • Tracking and monitoring campaign tasks and results; promptly resolving issues and reporting status to the right parties
  • Contributing to internal process documentation and training other team members to perform campaign execution roles
