Summary:

Our client is a growing company who is looking to add an experienced and professional Designer to the team. The Designer will ensure the optimum performance of the design and simulation processes of the allocated orders based on customer specifications and project specifications for the technical dossier of the mechatronic production lines to be assembled.

The Designer must have experience with EPLAN and AutoCAD.

Designer Requirements:

  • Associates degree or greater in mechanical engineering or engineering design
  • 2 – 5 years of operational experience
  • Knowledge of 3D design systems, such as Catia and/or Fides
  • Knowledge of auxiliary software, such as robot payload programs, the systems, Q-Checker
  • Knowledge of mechanical components
  • Knowledge of strength calculations
  • Knowledge of various 2D CAD systems, such as auto CAD and Eplan-Fluid
  • Knowledge of Pneumatics and hydraulics, and partial knowledge of electrical engineering components
  • Knowledge of various 2D CAD systems, such as auto CAD and Eplan. - Knowledge of electrical engineering components
  • Knowledge of Robcad and/or Process-Simulate
  • The creation of OLP robot paths (OLP programming)
  • Carrying out robot simulations

Designer Description:

  • Studying, analyzing and discussing the order with the Project Designer
  • Creating draft designs
  • Developing draft designs, using a 2D or 3D CAD system
  • Technical analysis of, reporting on and discussion of the designs created
  • Checking the designs in terms of costs and engineering
  • Resolving and deciding on design and production problems during assembly at the customer, at production in Breda and at suppliers
  • Generating the total package of drawings (2D+3D) and standard spare parts lists
  • Informing the Project Designer about progress and possible disruptions
  • Technical reporting on problems and solutions, to the project team. - Taking over tasks/subtasks of the Project Designer in the project
