Job Description

Our client is the CEO of a private equity firm looking to hire an energetic and creative Executive Personal Chef. The Executive Personal Chef will create dishes and prepare the menu for the CEO and his family as well as cater any parties or gatherings at the home or the office.

The Executive Personal Chef must have at least five years of experience working at a high end restaurant or hotel

Executive Personal Chef Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must have at least five years of experience (2 years Sous Chef and 3 years as Executive Chef) working in a high end hotel or restaurant
  • Attitude is key - team work, continuous learning, flexible
  • Must have fine dining skills including food from all over the world but great with the basics (ie. healthy cooking, Italian, French, Mediterranean, Mexican, pastries, vegetarian and vegan experience, pizza, fish…)
  • Catering experience (at least 30 people)
  • Easily adapt top different diets and personal preferences.
  • Must enjoy the challenge of creating menus for entertaining events
  • Handle everything from a multi-course formal dinner party to a friends and family informal gatherings
  • Must be able to adapt and roll with what the family needs/wants

Executive Personal Chef Description:

  • Designing creative and healthy meal plans
  • Shopping for groceries
  • Check the conservation of the food daily
  • Being responsible for the utility of the kitchen
  • Follow up the monthly calendar for dinners and meetings
  • Ensure to cook as healthy as possible every meal
  • Maintaining excellent customer relations
  • Storing foods & keep labeled all products daily
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen areas in general
  • Keeping up to date family preferences, menus and food chart
  • Create and maintain the menu chart updated
  • Create once a month, healthy snacks to be delivered at the office
  • Must be Flexible and available for Holidays when needed

  • Traditional French, Italian, Mexican and Southwest, Spa Cuisine, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern, Indian, Asian: Chinese, Thai, Vegetarian and Vegan, Organic farm to table, Specialty diets, Specialty desserts,
  • Banquets, Private Events, Menu planning, costing, Talented in multiple serving styles, from formal to elegant buffet arrangements, Vendor sourcing, negotiations and management, Budget Administration, Customer Service & Guest Relations, Quality assurance & Control, Entertaining event coordination from simple dinners to formal affairs for 100+ guest, Development of event themes and concepts, Menu Design & Development, Purchasing & Inventory Management, Safety/ Sanitation/ HACCP, Budgeting/ Cost Reduction
