Our client is a leading financial service company with a fast-paced, client-driven and entrepreneurial environment who is looking to add an experienced and professional Human Resources Manager to their team. The HR Manager works closely with Senior Leadership within all lines of the business and is responsible for providing human resource expertise and services to provide a work environment that maximizes organizational effectiveness, employee satisfaction and enhances the organization’s ability to attract and retain highly qualified staff. 

The Human Resources Manager must have 5-10 years of generalist, management, and recruiting experience.

Human Resources Manager Requirements:

  • Experience recruiting in the Financial Service Industry
  • 5-10+ years of Human Resource management experience
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, interview, and negotiation skills to communicate with all levels of internal and external professionals
  • Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and sometimes emotional issues requiring conflict management skills
  • Ability to recommend effective solutions to problems or issues using good business judgement as well as supported by consistent practice, standard, policy, regulation or law
  • Excellent writing skills to communicate and summarize complicated situations
  • Analytical ability to research and interpret various data sources such as compensation and labor relations information, understand and analyze business needs, access appropriate information, and recommend solutions within the strategic goals established for tor the Human Resources department

Human Resources Manager Description:

  • Responsible for the development of Human Resources departmental goals, objectives, budgets, planning, and systems
  • Manages the recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, interns, and temporary employees. Research, advertise, screen, interview and refer a diverse pool of qualified candidates for current job openings to the appropriate hiring Manager. Responsible for all aspects of the hiring process which includes the drafting of offer letters, performing of reference checks, extending employment offers, and coordinating the formal hiring process
  • Employee relations tasks such as onboarding and training, career-path discussion and planning, promotions, and exit interviews. Responds to issues such as employee discipline, complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints while advising management on the appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
  • Benefits Administration for programs such as health and dental insurance, life insurance, 401k plans, and personnel policies and procedures. Preparation and maintenance of the employee handbook
