Industrial Plant Engineer

Summary:

Our client is a growing company who is looking to add an experienced and professional Industrial Plant Engineer to the team. As part of the team, the Industrial Plant Engineer is responsible for supporting site Engineering/Operations including supporting maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment modification/enhancements, plant layouts, plant efficiencies, and scrap reduction

Industrial Plant Engineer must have 5+ years of experience

Industrial Plant Engineer Requirements:

  • ACAD LT minimum – required
  • Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, & Error Proofing Principles
  • General understanding of automated equipment
  • Experience managing capital projects
  • Experience with packaging equipment is highly desired

Industrial Plant Engineer Description:

  • Spending time on the plant floor working with engineering, maintenance, controls, and plant management
  • Design new or improved plant layouts in AutoCAD
  • Evaluate and implement process/manufacturing improvements to increase line efficiency
  • Evaluate and improve what products can run on which manufacturing line
  • Improve initiatives related to scrap reduction, rate of return, and machine up times
  • Perform validation and engineering change management
  • Participate in customer meetings and work cross functionally with other team members and vendors
