MBA Leadership Executive / Assistant to the CEO
Birmingham, MI


Our client is a private equity firm looking to add an experienced and competent MBA Leadership Executive to the team. This MBA Leadership Executive will coordinate and perform professional and confidential special functions with the CEO for business intelligence initiatives and project management. The long term strategy is to have the individual migrate to a functional leadership position within the organization.

The MBA Leadership Executive must be finance and technology savvy with three (3) years of progressive experience

MBA Leadership Executive Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related area
  • MBA is strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in progressive positions
  • Good Technology background required.  Apple experience a must
  • Very detail oriented with strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent analytical, written communication and organizational skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision making skills and high energy team player
  • Must be able to be aggressive when called for but also humble when necessary
  • Must have an unbelievable work ethic
  • Must be able to follow up and communicate well with CEO
  • Proven creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to be mobile and travel regularly as needed
  • Willing to do whatever is necessary to handle what is needed
  • Ready to develop to next level and be able to grow under the leadership of the CEO

MBA Leadership Executive Description:

  • Represent the CEO in a professional and congenial manner in person, in telephone conversations, and in written correspondence
  • Finance Savvy
  • Exercises a wide degree of creativity and latitude in developing and coordinating projects for the CEO
  • Write letters and other correspondence for the CEO, including letters of agreement
  • Discreet handling of confidential information
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for various projects
  • Follow up with Team Leaders and their financial team on their projects and work with CEO to move information to CEO System and Dropbox
  • Manage and organize the CEO’s calendar for meetings
  • Assist with meeting plan as needed
  • Evaluate performance compared to plan and to benchmarks
  • Assist in identifying actions to maintain margins within acceptable levels
  • Work with CEO to make sure Culture and Brand are being communicated and followed
  • Work with Marketing and Training and Development Teams to make sure that CEO’s Social Media fits his culture
  • Organize and follow up on all projects that the CEO is involved with
  • Work with CEO’s personal assistant to make sure everything is coordinated
  • Attend seminars and conferences
  • Assist with tasks related marketing, registrations, development of the agenda, and resource materials for meetings
  • Attend to administrative details not requiring the immediate attention of the CEO
  • Coordinate and expedite completion of a variety of complex activities that relate to the business of the CEO
  • Travel with and on behalf of the CEO to assist with business priorities
