Mechanical Assembler
Ann Arbor, MI


Our client provides an extensive array of instruments and systems for applications ranging from automotive R&D to a broad range of scientific R&D and QC measurements. They are looking to add an experienced and professional Mechanical Assembler to their team. The Mechanical Assembler will be assembling parts to form complete units or sub assemblies at a work bench or on the floor, work from detail assembly drawings and specifications and plan layouts using flow schematics.

The Mechanical Assembler must be mechanically inclined and have experience using hand tools as well as tube bending experience

Mechanical Assembler Requirements:

  • Must have High School diploma and certification from a technical school or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have 5+ year’s hands on experience in general assembly, techniques and procedures.
  • Must be able to read and understand assembly drawings & specifications.  
  • Requires a high level of proficiency and knowledge of assembly techniques.
  • Experience with hand and power tolls along with machining equipment.

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:

  • Successful candidate be responsible for assembling parts to form complete units or subassemblies at a work bench or on the floor, work from detail assembly drawings and specifications and plan layouts using flow schematics.
