New Technology Analyst
Superior Charter Township, MI


Our client is one the largest OEM’s in the world and is looking to add a New Technology Analyst. As part of the team, the New Technology Analyst will support, coordinate and track technology activities. Experience with databases is needed to support and improve existing tracking tools. As part of the Technology and Innovation team, the best candidate will also participate in various technology enhancement activities throughout the product development process.

The New Technology Analyst must have VBA or Python programming/database experience.

New Technology Analyst Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or other Science Preferred
  • Years of Experience: 3-5
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel
  • Experience with MS Access
  • VBA Programming experience
  • Ability to work with users to design systems
  • Attention to detail, interest in technology, and problem solving

New Technology Analyst Description:

  • Develop, maintain, and update internal tools for technology, patent, and budget management using Microsoft Access
  • Support coordination of company-wide technology activities such as:
    • Technology Scouting
    • Technology Exhibitions, Presentations, Papers
    • Technology Roadmaps
  • Support Patent Activity:
    • Provide metrics and analysis of patent activity
    • Conduct prior art searches
