Personal Technology Design Consultant

Birmingham, MI

Summary:

Our client is a CEO of a private equity firm looking to add an experienced and competent Personal Technology Design Consultant to his Team. This Personal Technology Design Consultant will be responsible for bringing cutting edge technology to the home and business of the CEO, personally and to all his companies. In essence, they will ensure the CEO has the latest and greatest IT equipment available.

The Personal Technology Design Consultant must have experience outfitting companies and personal homes with utilizing the most sophisticated technology; including internet, cable, media, and phone (Skype, televisions, cameras, and security), etc.

Personal Technology Design Consultant Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, finance, computer engineering, electronics, or computer sciences
  • 5+ years of IT management experience, preferably within the small and medium business market
  • Must have experience with media, camera security, audio/visual, automation, Smart homes/offices around HVAC, Skype, FaceTime, writable/recordable walls, etc.
  • Experience with Savant Smart Home Innovation or applicable software is preferred
  • Project management experience
  • ITIL Certification preferred
  • Apple Certifications - Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA) / Apple Certified Media Administrator (ACMA)
  • MCSA and/or MCITP Plus

Personal Technology Design Consultant Description:

  • Ensure that the CEO’s home and personal offices are utilizing the most sophisticated technology for both business and personal use; including internet, cable, media, and phone (Skype, televisions, cameras, and security), etc.
  • Information technology is integrated across all media outlets.
  • Identifying and establishing strategic long-term technology goals, policies and procedures for the CEO and home offices based on business objectives
  • Designing and overseeing implementation of technology solutions
  • Manage agreement renewals and the overall recurring revenue health of the team
  • Act as a subject matter and industry expert and assist with all technology selections
  • Consult regularly regarding IT needs as well as develop strategic plans and roadmaps based on budget and business drivers; Recommend the appropriate products and services that meet client needs and provide value
  • Manage vendor relationships on behalf of the client to ensure technology goals are met.
  • Partner with SGH technology team to align any technology solutions with business objectives when applicable
  • Assist with tasks related marketing, registrations, development of the agenda, and resource materials for meetings
  • Attend to administrative Business Intelligence details as assigned
