Production Supervisor
Westland, MI

Summary:

Our client is looking to add a Production Supervisor to their team to be a self-starter, hard worker, gets the job done, and be familiar and aware of continuous improvement.

Production Supervisor must be familiar with lean principles and at least 2 years of supervisory experience

Production Supervisor Requirements:

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little or no supervision
  • Must be flexible with shift hours of work, i.e. overtime, and holidays (when necessary)
  • Must be reliable and dependable
  • Occasional travel between facilities
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen that includes a nicotine test
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer

Production Supervisor Description:

  • Ensuring that objectives are met in the areas of Safety, Quality and Productivity
  • Assign and track individual orders from production to shipment
  • Train and direct production workers in daily order requirements
  • Participate in coaching, counseling and discipline of Union and Temporary employees
  • Able to stand, walk entire shift. Occasional bending and light lifting required
