Quality Control Engineer

Summary:

Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of powertrain, body and chassis products, and in-vehicle entertainment and navigation systems company who is looking to add an experienced and professional Quality Control Engineer to their team. The Quality Control Engineer responsible for quality control activities to support development and analysis of systems and procedures to improve quality.

The Quality Control Engineer must have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering.

Quality Control Engineer Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related area, or equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience in automotive products preferable
  • Effective customer service, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office programs
  • Self-motivated and able to deliver to strict schedules while manage in change in a dynamic environment
  • Participate in quality system development, documentation writing, audits and review

Quality Control Engineer Description:

  • Facilitate/Participate in launch of operation procedures and equipment
  • Ensuring proper, up-to-date methods are incorporated into operations’ processes. Maintain knowledge of current industry practices
  • Maintain effective working relationships (including communication) between internal and external customers to provide total quality activity coordination to promote customer satisfaction, product/process quality, efficiency, business opportunity and continual improvement
  • Review updates to customer requirements and translate requirements to process/work instructions/guidelines
  • Coordinate containment activities prevent suspect/defective product from reaching customers
  • QC Engineering support for Operations/Field Analysis/Reman/Sales
  • Issue invoices for all containment activities
  • Review monthly inspection, sorting and reject results and issue reports                   
  • Analyze actual and potential problems (process and product) and provide assistance to determine solutions and prevent deficiencies
