Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of powertrain, body and chassis products, and in-vehicle entertainment and navigation systems company who is looking to add an experienced and professional Quality Engineer to their team. The Quality Engineer under limited supervision, responsible for quality assurance and warranty activities related to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) customers.

The Quality Control Engineer must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of professional experience.

Quality Engineer Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related area
  • 3-5 years’ experience in automotive products preferable
  • Effective customer service, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office programs
  • Self-motivated and able to deliver to strict schedules while manage in change in a dynamic environment

Quality Engineer Description:

  • Maintain effective working relationships (including communication) between internal and external customers to provide total quality activity coordination to promote customer satisfaction, product/process quality, efficiency, business opportunity and continual improvement
  • Provide proactive customer service, liaison and representation for quality matters
  • Analyze actual and potential problems (process and product) and provide assistance to determine solutions and prevent deficiencies
  • Correspond/interface and negotiate as necessary with concerned parties (including factory and customer) regarding quality issues/concerns and follow to closure
  • Coordinate containment activities, prevent suspect/defective product from reaching customers
  • Participate in any out of office investigations that may be required to provide the company’s manufacturing facilities with additional field analysis and data that may assist in developing effective countermeasures
  • Research, track, evaluate and report quality-related (including warranty) information
