Sr. Engineer - Apple CarPlay Certifications 
Northville, MI 

Our client is a growing company that creates high-quality in-car systems for major OEMs around the world who is looking to add an experienced and professional Sr. Engineer - Apple CarPlay Certifications. The Sr. Engineer is responsible for providing device mirroring support utilizing experience in the area of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto certification. They will assist the Product Development team and other feature teams in performing activities related to device mirroring.  

The Sr. Engineer - Apple CarPlay Certifications must have 5+ years of infotainment background working with Apple CarPlay and prior experience with CarPlay certifications. 

Sr. Engineer Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline, or equivalent in other education and training
  • 7+ years of work experience in vehicle infotainment services
  • Recent experience with CarPlay and Android Auto certification a plus
  • Working Knowledge of JIRA & Confluence
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills that include Office Products and instrumentation software
  • Experience Using Diagnostic & Post Processing Software Tools
  • Be Able to Perform Rapid Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Troubleshooting Of Issues
  • Working with Global Development Teams to Resolve Software Bugs & Ensure Specification Requirements
  • Experience on Standard Defect Management & Test Management Systems EG: Android & Apple platform, JIRA, Confluence.
  • Aptitude to follow previously established guidelines to provide high quality results
Sr.  Engineer Description:
  • Create documentation for Device Mirroring with respect to Apple and Google Projection requirements
  • Work through self-certification activities for Device Mirroring
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of software releases & Create test reports
  • Work with customers and support certification
  • Collaborate with global teams working on Projection software solutions
  • Schedule test runs and test the software in real time whenever required
  • Collect data from the tests and flag risks.
  • Planning and scheduling certification activities
