Subaru Account Manager

Dublin, OH


Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of powertrain, body and chassis products, and in-vehicle entertainment and navigation systems company who is looking to add an experienced and professional Account Manager to their team. The Account Manager will solely responsible for the Subaru Account.

The Subaru Account Manager must have 3+ years of experience handling Subaru processes, procedures, and software.

Subaru Account Manager Requirements:

  • Subaru Account Management experience from a reputable supplier along with Honda Powertrain (alternators and starters) experience/exposure
  • Ability to speak/read Japanese (is a plus, not a requirement)
  • Willingness to work very independently with minimal daily interruptions. This is a small office that is quiet most of the time
  • JDE experience and willingness to do daily activities required to handle a high level of change management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related area, plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related position, or equivalent

Subaru Account Manager Description:

  • Under limited supervision, acts as a liaison between customers, plants and affiliate personnel in managing daily commercial issues, and coordinates and manages application engineering projects
  • Functions as contact person for customer engineers and buyers to negotiate complex issues. Performs and/or reviews product planning, testing, and analysis activities
  • Evaluates issues and provides resolution and handles more complex test situations
  • Prepares and delivers complex technical reports and presentations
  • Reviews and makes judgments on customer warranty data
