Truck Technical Advisor

Our client is a leading OEM within the automotive industry and is looking to add an experienced and professional Truck Technical Advisor to their team. They are looking for someone with strong experience in pickup trucks, who can advise on development, testing, durability, etc.  

Truck Technical Advisor must have 15+ years of experience at an OEM with pickup truck development and mass production

Truck Technical Advisor Requirements:

  • 15+ years work experience at OEM with pickup truck development (Engineering Design/Test) and mass production (Field: Structure, Moving, Interior, Exterior)

Truck Technical Advisor Description:

  • Advise on marketing decisions on pickup: target buyer, vehicle uses, features, content, USP and overall execution
  • Pickup truck bed design COORDINATOR (Engineering Design task for Structure/Moving/Interior/Exterior)
  • Efficient and strengthened bed body design methodology (Bed end body structure design/accessory attach/detach structure) and master car/part test method
  • Tailgate open/close structure (BIW Design methodology and open/close L/OU setting, pickup tailgate open/close durability test method)
  • 2nd row cabin’s interior parts L/OUT setting and design structure, under storage structure design and master car/part test method
  • Optimized engineering design methodology through bed liner spec (DROP-IN, SMC, SPRAY type) and master car /part test method
  • Exterior part (Engineering Design methodology for exterior parts  such as Tonneau, spoiler, RR combi lamp, HMSL, storage, glass)
  • Master car/part test method for Interior/Exterior
