Summary:

Our client is a growing aftermarket automotive company that specializes in driver safety electronics who is looking to add an Account Manager to their team. As an Account Manager, they will be responsible to grow company sales by calling prospective customers, attending trade shows, and generating new sales from current customers. We are searching for someone with the ability to introduce our products to new markets and convert leads into customers

The Account Manager must have five years of previous sales experience, background in the automotive industry, and the ability and willingness to travel

Account Manager Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Prior knowledge and experience in automotive aftermarket sales preferred
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Product knowledge in aftermarket 12 volt car audio/electronics preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written means
  • Driven and result-oriented

Account Manager Description:                                  

  • Regular contact to prospects and existing customers through phone and email
  • Build and continue strong relationship with top accounts Independently assesses and processes technical developments according to customer and/or engineering specifications
  • Follow up on all sales conversations and leads
  • Find new markets for products and identify product opportunities
  • Travel to accounts and attend annual distributor shows
