Summary:

Our client is an entrepreneurial start up that has experienced tremendous growth in the Pharmaceutical Industry that is looking to add a professional Account Manager to their team. As an Account Manager, they will be responsible for promoting products through effective interaction with buyers and sourcing managers responsible for generic drug purchasing.

The Account Manager must have excellent verbal communication skills, a proven ability to sell, and prior experience working with contracts/RFP’s.

Account Manager Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree from a recognized educational institution is preferred
  • 1-3 years of B2B sales experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Some experience in marketing, sales, finance, project management, and/or operations is a plus
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities in a timely fashion
  • High on personal accountability and responsibility

Account Manager Description:

  • Maintain business with customers across all classes of trade including national retail chains, wholesalers, distributors, independent pharmacies, mail order and GPOs under the direction of senior management
  • Perform business analysis with clear recommendations
  • Communicate with customers clearly and concisely
  • Compile marketing plans and coordinate product launches
  • Work on bids for RFPs, new products and opportunities
