Our client is an emerging IT outsourcing company headquartered in Farmington Hills, MI. They are looking to add a hungry and driven Business Development Executive specializing in sales of IT Services. As part of the team, the Business Development Executive will work with the executive leadership team to cultivate and execute sales activities, within a defined territory, to win New Logos while expanding the company’s customer footprint.

The Business Development / Account Executive must have four (4) years’ experience selling IT Services, Managed Services, Lifecycle Services, or similar enterprise solutions

Business Development / Account Executive Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience selling IT Services, Managed Services, Lifecycle Services or similar enterprise solutions
  • Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills
  • Experience hunting key customers and closing strategic opportunities
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in the IT services and/or device management industry
  • Successful track record driving revenue through net new sales (hitting targets consistently)
  • Successful experience utilizing a CRM to manage sales tasks, pipeline, and closing date
  • Proven experience selling within SMB and large enterprise companies
  • Skilled at building rapport, opening doors, understanding business requirements, motivating and influencing senior decision makers
  • Proven ability to listen, extrapolate information and leverage resources to effectively propose solutions to customers
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities/effective time management skills
  • Excellent ability to communicate and present at all levels within an organization

Business Development / Account Executive Description:

  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sale
  • Establish relationships with targeted prospects and secure contracts with new customers that ensure assigned sales quotas and targets are achieved
  • Identify and develop relationships with key contacts who are decision makers and influencers of the buying decision
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the company’s offerings
  • Develop, execute and deliver solution focused proposals and presentations
  • Creatively prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face-to-face meetings, and other methods such as social media, networking and industry events
  • Hyper-Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers
  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects
  • Cultivate relationships with third party and partner OEMs that may be required to deliver full solutions to customers
  • Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities to extend value to key purchasing stakeholders
  • Develop, maintain and execute pursuit plans that define the strategic actions to win the sale
  • Report on sales activity and keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions
  • Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods
  • Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
  • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offering
