CATIA Designer
Troy, Michigan

Summary:
Our client is an International company with over 20 years in the design industry with strong experience in the automotive, motorcycle, agricultural, medical, and aerospace fields. They are looking to add a CATIA Designer to their team. As part of this team, the CATIA Designer will work with the product manager and the CTO as an important member of the development and production process. They will complete 3D modeling and 2D drawings for clients.

CATIA Designer must have 1+ years of design experience

CATIA Designer Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mech. Eng/System Eng. or Industrial Design or equivalent years of experience with product development (MSME degree is a plus) 
  • Good knowledge of Unigraphics NX and/or CATIA V5 (Alias ad/or IcemSurf is a plus) 
  • Proficient in MS office 
  • Basic understanding of technical documents and standards 
  • Ability to work in team and able to handle peaks of stress 
  • Proactivity, flexibility, problem solving and management attitude are must- haves

CATIA Designer Description:

  • The profile must support the development activity of interiors and/or exterior for automotive sector
  • Working for the important OEM, including high-sector and luxury, such as Ferrari, Maserati and Alfa Romeo
  • The CATIA designer works strictly together with the product manager and the CTO as an important member of the development and production process.
  • Works together with other teams to get technical information 
  • Ensures the 3D modeling and official release into PLM platforms 
  • Is responsible of 2D drawings and technical annotations 
  • Knows how to manage GD&T 
  • Organizes and prioritizes his/her work, according to the management requirements 
  • Is aware of pre- and post-tooling parts modifications in order to improve quality and performances
