Electrical Engineer
Roseville, MI


Our client is an internationally recognized leading manufacturer in the plastics converting industry providing a wide variety of protective plastic and exterior and interior acoustical and energy management parts. They are looking to add a Electrical Engineer to their team who will be responsible for working cross functionally to troubleshoot and problem solve electrical and control system solutions based on engineering principles and customer requirements.

Electrical Engineer must have at least 3 years’ experience 

Electrical Engineer Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs including specification of vision, power, sensor, inspection, and communication systems
  • Proficient with MS office, Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, Indusoft, AutoCAD Electrical
  • Experience balancing multiple projects and demonstrate critical thinking with exceptional problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of three-phase electric power and servo motors and its application
  • Knowledge of motor start circuits, panel building and layout, and electrical machine requirements (OSHA)

Electrical Engineer Description:

  • Develop electrical and controls system design solutions and present the solution to the customer 
  • Responsible for project success relating to timely delivery, customer requirements, quality standards, and budget allocation
  • Create and finalize designs, create BOMs, define equipment and parts, and conduct cost and time estimations
  • Electrical, software design of customizes solutions including manufacturing automation and safety systems
  • Support manufacture, build, and validation of systems which include pneumatics, servos, VFD’s, relays, communication networks, touchscreens, pushbuttons, and robotic integration
