Electrical Technician 
Southfield, MI


Our client is an international leader in the design and manufacturing of gas pressure controls, regulators and electronic gas modulation systems who is looking to add a professional and experienced Electrical Technician to their team. As an Electrical Technician, they will be responsible for supporting assigned components and assemblies to make sure they meet all standards.

The Electrical Technician must have 3 years of experience working with electrical components and circuits.

Electrical Technician Requirements:

  • Requires a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technician or related technical discipline
  • 3 years Electrical experience in a High Volume Production Operation
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Must be experienced with using MSOffice
  • Experience with Thru-Hole, Wave Flow, Surface mount, Reflow equipment and other related equipment required

Electrical Technician Description:

  • Electrical Engineering Technician will assume support of all assigned components and assemblies. 
  • Responsible for reviewing components to meet all standards
  • Position will require close work with Purchasing and Production departments
  • Familiar with analog and digital circuits
  • Ability to read engineering electrical schematics
  • Diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electrical components, assemblies, or systems
  • Evaluation, analysis and repair of field returns and production failures
  • Program, troubleshoot and support Surface Mount equipment, Through Hole Insertion Equipment, Wave Solder, Conformal Coat, Optical Inspection etc
  • Set up, operate, maintain, calibrate and repair specialized production and testing equipment
  • Assist other departments with technical requirements
  • Conduct and document engineering tests and assist with engineering related activities
  • Liaison between production and engineering
  • Reporting to Engineering however spending a significant amount of time on the production facility as support
  • Flexibility to work on side projects to help with process improvement/curiosity
