ERP Manager
Shelby Township, MI

Summary:
Our client is a leading a leading manufacturer for the automotive industry. They are looking to add an experienced and professional ERP Manager to their team. As an ERP Manager, they will be working in a support role with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems users at all levels throughout the organization and its partners

The ERP Manager must have at least 5 years of Enterprise Resource Planning experience

ERP Manager Requirements:
•    Certifications from accredited schools in computer systems
•    Knowledge of basic computer hardware and applications software 
•    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
•    Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office
•    Troubleshooting ability is required
•    Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
•    Strong analytical ability 
•    Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
•    Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail
•    Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives are prerequisites
•    Demonstrated good internal customer service skills
•    Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
•    Looks for opportunities for continual improvement
•    Self-directed with effective time management skills, strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to multi-task
•    People Development skills – How to grow our teams (teach, coach & train)
•    Work with business leaders to create and execute procedures for Epicor system software and hardware upgrades
•    Ensure the on-time delivery of project plans
•    Provide instruction, assistance and support to Epicor system end-users
•    Maintain new solutions within the ERP system
•    Ability to link business strategies with technology solutions
•    Expertise in barcoding
•    Ability to create Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and processes
•    Create and modify label formats 
•    Ability to introduce tablets and other mobile devices along with ERP systems to gain productivity
•    Ability to manage multiple projects
•    Track time/production/track cycle time
•    Communicate System Upgrade systems across the company

ERP Manager Description:
•    Managing, maintaining and customizing Epicor 10 and supporting systems of the software
•    Experience with printers, scanners and barcode in manufacturing environment
•    Serve as the face of the company to and interact with external ERP consultants in the design and implementation of specified ERP modules
•    Understanding targets and capability to create/deliver a plan to achieve them and monitor accordingly
•    Setup and manage integration of EDI with ERP system; mapping of new customers 
•    Maintain and troubleshoot all current company hardware/systems; Setup future systems as required
•    Build reports, dashboards, and queries within Epicor for a manufacturing organization
•    Design, develop and generate both standard and ad hoc reports
•    Monitor and follow-up on all outstanding issues to ensure proper and efficient resolution
•    Utilize all tools necessary to monitor servers and perform other daily duties
•    Responsible for developing a timeline and project plan to drive the future integration of Epicor
•    Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner
•    Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
•    Develop help sheets and knowledge base for future reference and end users.
•    Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
•    Develops, designs, and manages business technology projects that involve multiple functions
•    Supports the business by designing systems that are cost effective, gain competitive advantage, and satisfy business information requirements
•    Working with users and key stakeholders to assess project status, prioritize initiatives, and advise on best practice
•    Installing and managing maintenance upgrades
•    Support the training of new hires in their Epicor roles
•    Lead continual improvement program to provide continuing training for Epicor users
•    Development of software/hardware solution to record press cycle data into ERP system for production monitoring, preventative maintenance work orders, unscheduled down time, etc.
