Our client is a growing company who is looking to add an experienced and professional Estimator to their team. Estimator is responsible for managing the estimation process, while maximizing profit, and performing these activities with the available resources within the constraints of time, cost, and performance/technology.

Estimator must be extremely detail oriented with at least 5 years of estimating experience for test equipment

Estimator Requirements:

  • Understanding of data acquisition theory and practice
  • Computers, electronics and instrumentation knowledge
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of various engine and powertrain test cells is preferred 
  • Working knowledge of construction management is preferred
  • PMP certification is preferred

Estimator Description:

  • Leads the proposal process and defines milestones and requirements for the proposals and estimates
  • Prepares material and work to be estimated by reviewing past proposals, past projects, specifications, and related documents
  • Works with engineering proposal team to generate estimates for projects
  • Works with all business groups to ensure that scope and risk are accounted for in the proposal
