Job Description

Position: Honda Account Manager
Location: Dublin, OH


Our client is a leading supplier of powertrain, body and chassis products, and in-vehicle entertainment and navigation systems. The audio division is looking to add a Honda Account Manager to help maintain and develop their growing business. The Honda Account Manager will work under limited supervision, act as a liaison between customers, plants and affiliate personnel in managing daily commercial issues, and coordinates and manages application engineering projects. 

Honda Account Manager must have previous experience working with Honda

Honda Account Manager Requirements:

  • Honda of America Audio/Infotainment Account Management experience from a reputable supplier
  • Familiarity with Honda’s New Model processes, Equote processes, Capacity Management processes and eDCIS processes
  • Ability to speak/read Japanese (is a plus, not a requirement)
  • Willingness to work very independently with minimal daily interruptions. This is a small office that is quiet most of the time
  • JDE experience and willingness to do daily activities required to handle a high level of change management related to audio products
  • Collaborative, team minded
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related area, plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related position, or equivalent

Account Representative Description:

  • Under limited supervision, acts as a liaison between customers, plants and affiliate personnel in managing daily commercial issues, and coordinates and manages application engineering projects
  • Functions as contact person for customer engineers and buyers to negotiate complex issues
  • Performs and/or reviews product planning, testing, and analysis activities
  • Evaluates issues and provides resolution and handles more complex test situations
  • Prepares and delivers complex technical reports and presentations
  • Reviews and makes judgments on customer warranty data
  • Identifies future business opportunities and potential risks.  Investigates competitor products and makes conclusions on the findings
