Customer Scheduler

Grand Rapids, MI


Our client is the leading supplier of anti-vibration solutions for the global automotive and commercial vehicle industries and they are looking to add experienced and professional Customer Scheduler to their team. The Customer Scheduler will be responsible for communication with the customer materials department, will work closely with Shipping and Receiving on orders due to customers, and will monitor and review all customer shipping windows.

The Customer Scheduler must have 5+ years of related experience  

Customer Scheduler Requirements:

  • Experience working in the automotive industry
  • 5 years of customer scheduling experience
  • Has worked with AS400
  • Team player/strong communicator
  • EDI experience – ability to interpret raw data management in automotive industry, knowledge of the APQP/PPAP process

Customer Scheduler Description:

  • Confirm/Document customer build out date and customer part numbers (with customer)
  • Review all customer orders daily. 
  • Confirm/Verify customer Cumms
  • Communicate all shipping parts and quantities to shipping, per a pick list
  • Check daily all customer systems and answer any open tickets
  • Train any new ship direct suppliers
  • Answer all customer requests
  • Monitor/manage all direct ship activities
  • Enter all manual customer releases into Future 3
  • Communicate any window changes to the shipping dock
  • Review error reports in the morning and make any changes needed
  • Assist with ASN errors and retransmitting ASN’s, if needed
