Product Support Engineer
Auburn Hills, MI


Our client is a leading manufacturer of mobile measurement equipment and data acquisition systems. They are looking to add a Product Support Engineer to their team. The Product Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Account Management team by troubleshooting and resolving any product or service issues with customers from a variety of industries in order to minimize costs and maximize sales activity.

Product Support Engineer must have 1-3 years’ experience in data acquisition

Product Support Engineer Requirements:

  • 2-4 year degree in Electrical/Electronics, Automotive, Mechanical or similar engineering programs
  • 1-3 years’ experience in data acquisition, embedded, calibration, testing, or validation
  • Knowledge in CAN and protocols (ex: CANoe, Vector CANape, CANalzer, ETAS INCA etc.)
  • Experience with a wide variety of sensors and measurement techniques
  • Instrumentation background experience is highly preferred

Product Support Engineer Description:

  • Attract potential customers by answering product questions and suggesting information and applications
  • Troubleshoot root cause of customer issues and explain best solution
  • Generate and coordinate customer reports, service processes, shipments, evaluations etc.
  • Be technical liaison for all products and supported 3rd party hardware
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites to provide sales and engineering support
